ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Following the results of the 2023 ÖSYM YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam), students admitted to ITU undergraduate programs based on the AYT (Field Proficiency Test) score of their chosen department will receive "ITU Achievement Awards" for a duration of 5 years, including the preparatory period, based on their success levels.
Turkey Rankings 1-100:
- Monthly stipend of 6000 ₺ for 12 months
- Hazırlık sınıfını yurt dışında okuma imkânı
- Opportunity to study preparatory class abroad
- Priority in establishing a company at TECHNOPARK
- Lunch grant for 9 months
- Free accommodation in ITU's high-standard dormitories throughout the academic period (Single Room)
Condition: The achievement and dormitory award will be terminated if the student's overall GPA falls below 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 at the end of each academic year.
Turkey Rankings 101-500:
- Monthly stipend of 5000 ₺ for 12 months
- Priority in establishing a company at TECHNOPARK
- Lunch grant for 9 months
- Free accommodation in ITU dormitories throughout the academic period (Double Room)
Condition: The achievement and dormitory award will be terminated if the student's overall GPA falls below 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 at the end of each academic year.
Turkey Rankings 501-1000 (Admitted to ITU as the 1st choice for a bachelor's program):
- Monthly stipend of 4000 ₺ for 12 months
- Lunch grant for 9 months
- 50% accommodation opportunity
Condition: The achievement and dormitory award will be terminated if the student's overall GPA falls below 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 at the end of each academic year.
Achievement scholarships will be awarded based on the students' placement scores.
Students who place ITU as their first choice and are admitted to their preferred program will receive a monthly scholarship of 2000 ₺.
Students eligible for multiple achievement scholarships will receive only the highest amount.
ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIPS
The Athlete Scholarship is valid as long as students continue their education without interruption. This period is the regular duration of the program, including up to 5 years, covering English Preparatory Education. To qualify for the Athlete Scholarship, the student must actively participate in regular activities as a member of ITU's university team in the relevant sport. The Athlete Scholarship is valid for 9 months throughout the academic year (October 1st - June 30th). Applications for the Athlete Scholarship are made to the ITU Department of Physical Education. The sports to be awarded scholarships are determined by the Department of Physical Education each year within a quota of 10 people per branch.
- Monthly stipend of 1000 ₺ for 9 months
- Lunch grant for 9 months
Condition: The student must participate regularly in activities as a member of the ITU university team in the relevant sport.
MEAL SCHOLARSHIPS
A daily meal (lunch) at the university dining hall is granted for free. Valid for one academic year.
NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
Students can benefit from cash scholarships according to their economic needs. Cash scholarships are provided by ITU Foundations, ITU Alumni and Associations, and other private individuals, foundations, organizations, and institutions.
